Hess: 50th wedding anniversary

ST. CLAIRSVILLE-L.K. and Cindy Hess of St. Clairsville will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 8. They were married on Feb. 8, 1962 at the First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville. Their vows were witnessed by Wayne Applegarth and Jessie Pollock.

L.K. is the son of the late Louis K. Sr. and Dorothy Hess. He is the retired, successful business owner of Hess Builders in St. Clairsville. His wife, the former Cindy Reline, is the daughter of Peggy Davis of St. Clairsville and the late George Reline. She retired as an LPN from Barnesville Hospital in 2011.

They have three children: Bill (Elaine) of Shadyside, Tammy of Latham, N.Y. and Brett of St. Clairsville. They have four grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Lindsay and Bill.

The couple will spend their anniversary in Las Vegas and then will take another trip in the spring as a gift from their children.
