NEUHART: 65th wedding anniversary
BETHESDA – Richard and Esther Neuhart will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 7. They were united in marriage on June 7, 1947 at the bride’s home on Belmont-Morristown Road by Rev. J.W.L. Deem, pastor at Morristown Methodist Church.
Neuhart is the son of the late Emmett and Agnes Neuhart of Belmont. He entered the U.S. Army following high school graduation and served with the 65th Infantry Division under General Patton in Europe during World War II. He graduated from Muskingum College, taught at Bellville School, was principal at Morristown Elementary School and taught at Barnesville Junior High School. His wife, Esther, is the daughter of the late Dewey and Josephine Bond, following graduation from Muskingum College, Esther taught home economics at New Concord High School, Bellville High School and Belmont High School.
They established a home improvement business, Neuhart Aluminum Inc., which they operated for over 20 years until their retirement.
They are the parents of three children, Dianne, who is deceased, Valerie Mena, Crystal Lake, Ill and John (Sarah), Avon, In.; five grandchildren, Heidi, Micaela and Josh (Megan) Neuhart, and Rich and Audrey Mena, complete the family.
