HILL: 40th wedding anniversary

MARTINS FERRY – Jack and Deborah Hill are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, April 14. They were united in marriage April 14, 1973 at the First United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry, with the Rev. D. Larry Kline officiating.

Their parents are the late Elmer “Pete” and Virginia Hill and the late Raymond Canter and Erma Canter Best.

They have a special relationship with their nieces, Kara Cunningham of Barberton, Ohio; Camille Petrakis of North Canton, Ohio; Kylie Canter of Parkersburg, W.Va. and nephew, R.J. Canter of Martins Ferry. Also included are great-niece and nephew, Sophia and Kosta Petrakis.

Jack is a retired federal surface mine inspector with MSHA. His wife, the former Deborah Canter, is a certified pharmacy technician at Just Meds Pharmacy, Martins Ferry.

They reside in Martins Ferry with their “girls” Zoe and Ali. They will celebrate with family and friends.
