Twardoski: 35th wedding anniversary
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Samuel and Diane Twardoski of St. Clairsville celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary Tuesday, Aug. 13. They were united in marriage Aug. 13, 1978 at the Oglebay Gardens in Wheeling with the late Pastor Elbin officiating the ceremony.
Samuel is the son of Carmella and the late Frank “Pedro” Twardoski of Martins Ferry. He is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in special education. He is currently employed at Union Local High School as the special education teacher.
His wife, Diane, is the daughter of the late Mary Jane McCutcheon of Wheeling. She holds degrees in English, speech, and French from West Liberty State College (University) and also holds a master of administration from the University of Dayton. She is currently employed at Martins Ferry High School as the French teacher.
They are the parents of two children. The family includes Gina Reitter (Twardoski) and her husband, B.J., and their children Reed, Gage and Jayden of Weirton, W.V.; and A.J. Twardoski of Columbus, Ohio.
They celebrated their anniversary with family in Ocean City, Md., where the two have been vacationing for over 30 years.
