PELTZ: 50th wedding anniversary
ED AND Becky Peltz of Greenville, Ohio, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, Aug. 16. They were married Aug. 16, 1964, in the Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant. The Revs. E. W. Lodwick and Douglas Pomeroy officiated the candlelight ceremony.
Peltz is the son of the late Walter and Cora Peltz of Adena. He works as a consultant for the Ohio Department of Education and ushers at Ohio State football games.
His wife, Becky, is the daughter of the late James and Alma Barkhurst of Mount Pleasant. Becky enjoys volunteering and tutoring ESL students. Both are retired educators from Greenville City Schools.
They have two sons, James (Amy) Peltz of Indianapolis, Ind., and David (Lindsay) Peltz of Greenville, Ohio. Their two granddaughters are Kindyl and Kylar.
The couple celebrated their anniversary with their family.
