Ohio Valley Recipe Corner — Easy Peach Cobbler
This week’s recipe is an easy peach cobbler made with help from a cake mix. Submitted by Ruth Garrison of Bridgeport.
Easy Peach Cobbler
2 large cans of cut up peaches in syrup
1 box yellow cake mix
butter, if desired
Drain one can, reserving syrup, and put peaches in 9 x 13 pan. Dump entire second can of peaches, including syrup, into pan. Sprinkle cake mix overtop, stir in gently until moistened. You can dot with butter on top, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. If too dry, use reserved syrup from can.
