Ranelle Ellen Harding and Kenneth Allen Bennington were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 28, at the First Christian Church in Martins Ferry, with Rev. Rod Kasler officiating the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Irvin and Alta Harding of Shadyside. Parents of the groom are Fred and Judy Bennington of Bellaire.
Melissa Ernest Tiger was the maid of honor and Fred Bennington served as best man. Other attendants were Pam Wallace, Billie Jo Stalder, Lindsey Bennington, Brittany Harding, Trista Zoeckler, Sierra Harding, Alex Lee, Andy Breisger, Josh DePaulis, Chris Harding and Tre’ Myers. Program attendants were CJ, Noah and Cole Harding. Colby and Bryce Tiger attended the guest book. Tammy Mitchell was soloist and Connie Moore was the organist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Shannon’s Place.
The bride is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and West Virginia Business College. She is employed at Huntington Bank and the Dress Barn.
The groom is a graduate of Bellaire High School and Ohio University Eastern and is employed at #6 mine, Ohio Valley Coal.
After a wedding trip to the Outer Banks, the couple will reside in Shadyside.
