Allison Renne’ Hood and David Edward Hacker, Jr. were united in marriage August 7, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. in Martins Ferry at the First United Methodist Chruch with the Rev. Van Fisher Officiating.
The bride was escorted by cousin, Scott Hood in honor of her father. Parents of the bride are Barbara and the late James Hood of Martins Ferry. Parents of the groom are Susan and Joe Jozwiak of Martins Ferry and David Hacker Sr. of Creedmoor, N.C.
Christy Yeager served as Matron of Honor. Julie Hildebrand was the maid of honor and Joey Jozwiak, David Snyder, and Jacob Ford served as the best men. Other attendants were Sarah Snyder, Haley Hacker, Jami Jozwiak, Kelly McAninch, Kristen Harrison, Donnie Yeager, Sean Dolen, Matt Coe and Sam Hacker. Ushers were Logan Miller and Charlie Hacker.
Program attendants were Breanna Hudock, Kaitlyn Hood, and Emily Cominsky.
Ring bearers were Brody and Zach Hood. Flower girls were Isabella Yeager and Rylie White.
The bride and groom are both 2004 graduates of Martins Ferry High School. The bride is also a 2008 graduate of Ohio University earning bachelor’s degree. She is currently persuing her master’s degree in special education at West Liberty University. She is employed as a teacher with the Martins Ferry School District.
Her husband is a 2007 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University. He completed his master’s in business administrtation at Wheeling Jesuit in 2009. He is employed as the Human Resources and Recruitment Manager with Russell Nesbitt Services in Wheeling.
Following a honeymoon trip to the beach, the couple will reside at their home in Martins Ferry.
