Holly Renee Johnson and Jeffrey David Bergman were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the First Christian Church in Beallsville with Minister Wayne Clark officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Steve and Teresa Johnson of Beallsville. The groom’s parents are Greg and Joan Bergman of Kennonsburg, Ohio.
Matron of honor was Chantele Johnson and Doug Edwards served as best man. Other attendants were: Jennifer Yeazell, Anya Belayevskaya, Joyce Sampson, Stephanie Primmer, Ciera Burkhart, Sasha Lawson, Elizabeth Bergman, Jamey Moore, Jason Cline, Steve Feldner, Kurt Baden, Mark Cordray, Lance Buckey, and Steve Johnson. Junior attendant was Kaden Mercer. Flower girl was Hallie Lawson and Braden Johnson was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Union Hall in Clarington, Ohio.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Beallsville High School. She graduated from Muskingum University in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood education and will complete her master’s degree in administrative leadership at Muskingum University in August 2011. She is currently employed at Columbus Preparatory Academy as the Curriculum Director and Testing Director.
Her husband is a 2003 graduate of Shenandoah High School and a 2008 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in electrical and computing engineering. He is currently employed at Diamond Power International, Inc., in Lancaster, Ohio as a controls engineer.
Following a honeymoon on the Island of St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Grove City, Ohio.
