Annie LaBrosse and Benjamin Wershing were united in marriage Sept. 18, at 2 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Wheeling with the Very Rev. Bishop Bernard Schmitt and Fr. James LaCrosse as the celebrants.
Parents of the bride are David and Nancy LaBrosse of Wheeling, West Virginia.
The groom’s parents are Gary and Ann Wershing of Barnesville, Ohio.
Emily Taylor served as maid of honor. Brock Huntsman served as best man. Other attendants were Elaine Yandrich, Jenna Tolbert, Meredith Velez, Jaime Updegraff, Katie Stefanow, Leah Blazeski, Jesse LaBrosse, Matt Wershing, Garrett LaBrosse, Danny Spiczenski, Ryan Ferris, and Eric Householder.
A reception was held at the White Palace.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Wheeling Central and a 2009 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor of science in nuclear medicine technology. She is currently enrolled at the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Barnesville High School and a 2008 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a doctorate of physical therapy as of August 2010. He is employed through Rehab Plus in Johnson City, Tennessee.
The couple will reside in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
