Cylie L. Vance and Joseph G. Turkal were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m., on Oct. 2, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in St. Clairsville, with the Honorable Harry White officiating.
Parents of the bride are Chris and Georgia Vance of Belmont.
Parents of the groom are Joe and Sherry Turkal, Sr., also of Belmont.
Jessica Jarrett served as maid of honor and Nathan Ostrander served as best man. Other attendants were: Caylana Vance, Michelle Broadwater, Chris Robinson and John Lawrence.
A reception was held at the Hellenic Center in Wheeling.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and is a second year student in the registered nursing program at Belmont Technical College, with plans to graduate in the spring of 2011.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2006 graduate of Belmont Technical College. He has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Ohio National Guard and is employed at the McElroy Mine, Cameron Portal, as a first class mechanic.
A wedding trip is planned in December to St. Lucia.
The couple resides in Morristown.
