ASHLEY RENE Mellinger and Larry Emmett Lawver were united in marriage Nov. 6 at 2:30pm at Freeport United Methodist Church with David Koch officiating the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Steve and Julie Mellinger of Centerville. Parents of the groom are Beverly Lawver of Deersville and the late Larry Lynn Lawver.
Tori Jarrett was maid of honor and Jason Laporte was the best man. Other attendants were: Jennifer Cochran, Char Springer, Kim Anderson, Nicole Hornic, Emily Mercer, Shaelyn Anderson, Mark Harmon, Jamie Daugherty, Brian Fritter, Derek Mellinger, Jarod Mellinger, Dawson Mellinger, Rick Jarret and Terry Jarrett. Georgia and Madison Lawver were the flower girls and Tyson Anderson was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at Wallace Lodge at Sally Buffalo Park.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Union Local High School and a 2007 graduate of Ohio Northern University with a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science. She is employed by WesBanco Bank, Inc.
Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Lakeland High School and a 2001 graduate of Belmont Technical College with an associate’s degree in welding. He is employed by Marlite, Inc. in Dover. He is also a volunteer fire fighter.
Following a wedding trip, the couple will reside in Piedmont.
