Tonya Hadjis and Pavel R. Kamaev were united in marriage at 4:30 p. m. on Saturday, December 11, at Oglebay Park, Wheeling, with the Honorable Judge James P. Mazzone officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James A. Hadjis, of Wheeling. The groom is the son of Pavel N. Kamaev, of Penza, Russia, and the late Svetlana A. Suhanova.
Donna Hadjis, was the matron of honor, and Emily Carter was a bridesmaid. Dr. David Tabatadze served as best man.
The couple celebrated their marriage with a reception at Wilson Lodge, Oglebay Park.
The bride is a graduate of the Linsly School and Miami University. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently employed by the United States Department of Agriculture in Boston as a veterinary medical officer.
The groom received a Ph.D. from the Moscow Institute of Chemical Physics, RAS, and completed post doctoral studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is employed as a senior scientist at a privately owned research company in Boston.
Following a wedding trip to Naples, Florida, the couple will reside in Lexington, Massachusetts.
