ALISHA ANNE Smith and Joshua Lee Parsons were united in marriage Saturday, March 19 at 2:30 p.m., at the Giffin Park Church in St. Clairsville, with Pastor Mark Statler officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Bruce A. and Sheila Smith of St. Clairsville.
Parents of the groom are James and Rita Gibbons of Bloomingdale.
Carissa Mercer served as the matron of honor and Shayna Smith served as the maid of honor. Scott Parsons and James White served as best men. Other attendants were Natalie France, Angela Rucker, Jennifer Orr, Pat King, Eric Mercer and Tom Foraker. Junior bridesmaids were Caroline Mercer and Katelyn Orr. Flower girls were Ella Mercer and Sabrina Foraker.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Wheeling Country Club.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2005 graduate of Ohio University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She is employed by Alternative Home Health, Inc. as the Payroll/HR Manager and is also the owner of Gourmet Goodies by Alisha.
Her husband is a 2002 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2005 graduate of Belmont Technical College, with Associate degrees in both Computer Science and Microcomputer Networking. He is employed by Technical Solutions, LLC as the Director of Operations.
Following a honeymoon to New Orleans, the couple will reside in Neffs.
