MELANIE KAY Kidder and Jesse James Padgett were united in marriage June 25 at 4:30 p.m. at Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville, with the Rev. Chuck Mehl officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Brent and Jackie Kidder of Bellaire and parents of the groom are Jim and Cindy Padgett of Neffs.
Britany Crosby served as maid of honor and Chris Panepucci was best man. Other attendants were Justin Ann Padgett-Steadman, Becky Kidder, Karen Murphy, Stephanie Mrozek, Annie Sopic, Kelly Olearchick, Ryan Padgett, Craig Kidder, Gus Padgett, Sean McElfresh, Kyle Bonar, and Clint Robbins. Ava Fluharty was the flower girl and Jacob Steadman and Aiden Miller were ringbearers.
The bride is 2005 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2011 graduate of Duquesne University. She is employed as a pharmacist at CVS/Pharmacy.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University. He is employed by Manseutto and Sons in Martins Ferry.
The couple will reside in Columbus following a honeymoon to the Bahamas.
