Amanda Marie Timko and Donald Joseph Murray were united in marriage on Saturday, July 9, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Martins Ferry. The Rev. Fr. Thomas Marut officiated the ceremony. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Timko of Martins Ferry. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Murray Sr. of Triadelphia.
Andrea Timko, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Brendan Welsh served as the best man. Other attendants were: Annie Wiater, Megan Robson, Tara Richards, Caitlin Coyne, Megan Thompson, Shai McCoy, Kala Amato, Edward Murray, Kenneth Murray, Jr., Scott Holt, Shawn Selmon, John Kamlowsky, Bill Sligar, and Kory Melko. The ring bearers were Civin and Drew Murray.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Shannon’s Place in Colerain.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of St. John Central High School and a 2010 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She is employed by the Belmont County Commissioners.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School and a 2003 graduate of Bethany College with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. He is employed by Schedule Star.
The couple will reside in Brookside following a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, SC.
