Amber Nicole Bauer and Sean Patrick Doyle were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, Wheeling, with Msgr. Kevin Quirk officiating.
Parents of the bride are Roy and Gigi Bauer of Wheeling. Parents of the groom are Dan and Cindy Doyle of Wheeling.
Annie Thalman was the matron of honor. Greg Bigelow and Jim Materese served as best men. Other attendants were Heather Ayers; Valerie Perrine; Laura Gronell; Jara Packer; Erin Taylor and Megan Doyle, sisters of the groom; Dirk Bauer and Chad Bauer, brothers of the bride; Ian Marconi; Jack Doyle; Michael Cusick; James Cowart; JR Taormina; Dylan Taylor; ShaiAnn Doyle; Sydney Doyle and Carter Bauer.
A reception was held at the White Palace, Wheeling Park.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry with a doctor of dental surgery degree. She is employed as a dentist at the Freeport (Ohio) Family Health Center.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2001 graduate of Cornell University with a bachelor of science degree in applied economics and business management. He is employed by Ohio County Schools as a math teacher and head wrestling coach.
After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
