Lindsay Nicole Mendelson and Patrick William Fletcher were united in marriage on Friday, April 1, at the Scioto Reserve Country Club in Powell, Ohio. Reverend Bonnie MacAllister officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Parents of the couple are Stephanie Mendelson of Bellaire, Gerry Mendelson of Shadyside and Jana and Craig Fletcher of Ostrander, Ohio. Grandmothers of the couple are Shirley Dobkin, Florence Mendelson and Connie Fletcher.
Erica Mendelson served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Fletcher, sister of the groom, and Ashley Davolio, cousin of the bride. Lauren Klempa, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Best man was Sam Williams and groomsmen were Josh Bertke and Chris Costine, friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Kayden Miller. Readers were Courtney Crooks Still, cousin of the bride, and Rhonda Tabbah, friend of the bride. Usher was Michael Beltz, program attendants were Caitlyn Beltz and Sarah Kakos, and guest book attendant was Melanie Kakos, all cousins of the bride. Music was provided by harpist Miriam Weber Brown.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Bellaire High School. She holds bachelors of arts degrees in psychology and sociology, as well as a master’s degree in school psychology from The Ohio State University. She received her Ph.D. from OSU in June as a school psychologist. She is employed as an applied behavior analysis therapist in the Columbus area, as well as an adjunct professor at Capital University.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Thomas Worthington High School in Worthington. He is a graduate of the Columbus Police Academy and is employed by the City of Columbus as a police officer.
A reception followed at Scioto Reserve Country Club. The couple, who honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica, reside in Columbus.
