AMY LYNN Obloy and Andrew Raymond Thalman were united in marriage on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Wheeling, with the very Reverend Monsignor Kevin Quirk officiating.
Parents of the bride are John and Janet Obloy of St. Clairsville.
Parents of the groom are Raymond and Marilyn Thalman of Wheeling.
Elizabeth Obloy and Cara Obloy, sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor. Mark Thalman, brother of the groom, served as best man. Other attendants were Maureen Kerr, Regina Thalman, Vanessa Govindan, Erica Wilson, Emily Reasey, Suzanne Dubinsky, Katrina Bell, Steve Kerr, Thomas Walz, Bradley Brejcha, Chad Thalman, Jeffrey Carenbauer, Joshua Sankal, Aaron Gilmore and Luke Hladek. Claire Kerr, niece of the groom, served as flower girl and Brady Kerr, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at Oglebay’s Glessner Auditorium, Wheeling.
The Bride is a 1998 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and 2002 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of fine arts. She is employed at Huntington National Bank in Wheeling as a personal banker.
The Groom is a 2000 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 2004 graduate of Ohio University and a 2007 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law. He is employed by Phillips, Gardill, Kaiser and Altmeyer, PLLC in Wheeling.
After a wedding trip traveling France, the couple resides in the Woodsdale section of Wheeling.
