JEANNA ANN Kovalski and Brian Joseph Washko were united in marriage on July 29, 2011 at St. John Cantius Church in Cleveland with Father Timothy Pavlae officiating with Father Lucjan Stokowski co-celebrating at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kolleen Kovalski of Mentor. Her grandparents are Jeanne Donley of Adena and the late Jerry Donley, and the late Martin and Ann Kovalski formerly of Mt. Pleasant.
The groom grew up in Willoughby Hills, Ohio where his parents still reside. His grandparents are the late Kenneth and Mary Hengesback and the late Joseph and Mary Washko.
Scarlet Englebrecht, was maid of honor and Daniel Washko, was the best man. Other attendants were: Jessica and Jillian Kovalski, Jackie Cummings and Ann Washko, Tariq Khashram, Anthony Attalla, Nick Wright and Matthew Rafferty. Jr. bridesmaid was Megan Strah and Jr. Groomsman was Edward Strah. Flower girls were Molly Strah and Jeanna Michele Kovalski. Ringbearers were Matthew and Andrew Schneider. Ushers were Jason Bickel and Matthew Phillips. Readers were Allison Rodak, Jill Finnan and Amanda Greathouse.
A reception was held at Pine Ridge Country Club.
The bride is a graduate of Brown Aveda Institute of Cosmetology. She will graduate this month with her bachelors in organizational leadership with an emphasis in nonprofit. She is employed as an account manager intern for a retail marketing company, ECRM, in Cleveland.
Her husband, is a graduate of the University of Dayton where he received his bachelor of mechanical engineering in 2002. He is now attending Baldwin Walace for his masters in executive management planning on graduating in 2013. He is employed as a process engineer at TECT Power in Cleveland.
They will honeymoon in the Rivera Maya, Mexico later this month.
The couple resides in Euclid, Ohio.
