Megan Elizabeth Vetula and Seth Reed Lakritz were united in marriage Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. in an interfaith ceremony at the Carnegie Institution in Washington, D.C. with the Rev. Alexei Michalenko and Rabbi Lewis Solomon officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Richard and Sandie Vetula of Fairpoint. Parents of the groom are Robert and Denise Lakritz of West Palm Beach, Fla.
Kristen (Vetula) Crawford was matron of honor, and Vanessa Vetula was maid of honor. Other attendants were Mallory Gertscher, Karen Schaefer, Jen Hanson, Ashleigh Elcesser, Maria Vincenzo, Eric Rausher, Jason Crawford, Kevin Bowersox, Sidhartha Pandey, Shane Young and Sumit Sood.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. She is a 2007 graduate of Georgetown University and a 2010 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center. She is employed as an associate attorney in the Washington, D.C. office of K&L Gates LLP.
Her husband is a 1998 graduate of Atlantic High School. He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Florida and received his master’s degree from the University of Florida in 2005. He is employed with the federal government.
Following a honeymoon to Tahiti and Moorea, the couple will reside in Fairfax, Va.
