Jill Diane Predragovich and Anthony Mark Stromeyer were united in marriage on Saturday, April 21, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Wheeling, with Monsignor Kevin Quirk and Father Dan Heusel officiating. The couple received an Apostolic Blessing from Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion of their marriage.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Predragovich of Martins Ferry. The groom is the son of Cynthia Stromeyer of St. Clairsville and the late Walter Stromeyer. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Corona of Smithfield.
Suzanne Krajnyak was the maid of honor, and Doug Blanco served as best man. Other participants were Ruth England; Ulrike Heiby; Sister Mary Bowman, SFCC; Amy Meisel; Patricia Ufferman, sister of the bride; Martin Imbroscio; Robin Galloway; Don Platt; Jim Predragovich, brother of the bride; and Vincent Stromeyer, brother of the groom. Musicians for the ceremony were Carrie Oliver and Luke Mayernik, and for the reception were John Nowak and Jeff Nowak. The bride’s gown was made by her mother.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of St. John Central and a 2003 graduate of Point Park University with a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts.
Her husband is a 2002 graduate of St. John Central, and attended Ohio University and Belmont Technical College. He is employed by Strata Mine Services in the Enlow Fork Consol Energy Mine.
The couple will reside in Martins Ferry.
