ELIZABETH LEIGH Messer and Kevin Joseph Miller were united in marriage on Saturday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m., with the Reverend Ron Huggins officiating the ceremony at the Tisinger House at Victory Farms in Bowdon, Georgia.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Messer of Bowdon.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Joseph Miller of Wheeling.
Bridget Ryan was maid of honor, and Ryan McNeil was best man. Other attendants were Bethany Simmons, Lauren Neighbors, Kacie Miller, Anna Messer, Matt Thalman, Ricci Zambito, Mark Sapon, and Andrew Messer. Ushers were Chris, Rob and Zachary Messer. Vivi Parker was flower girl, and Rylan and Clay Fuller were ring bearers.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Tisinger House.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Bowdon High School, a 2008 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and marketing and a 2010 graduate of Georgia State University with a master’s degree in sports administration. She is employed by Octagon Sports Marketing.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 2005 cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and finance, and a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in sports management. He is employed as a major gift officer with the Mountaineer Athletic Club at West Virginia University.
Following a honeymoon to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Morgantown, W. Va.
