Michele Rae Parsons and Dale Edward Lewis were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9 at Belmont United Presbyterian Church, Jacobsburg, with Pastor Peter Walburn officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Katherine Parsons of Triadelphia. The groom is the son of W. Roger III and Kitty Lewis of Shadyside.
Michael Parsons Jr., and W. Roger Lewis III served as attendants.
A family reception was held at Undos in Elm Grove. A WVU/OSU tailgating reception was held for friends and family at the El Tor Grotto, Wheeling.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from West Liberty University in 2000 and a master’s degree from West Virginia University in 2006. She is employed by Ohio County Schools as a science teacher at Wheeling Park High School.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Shadyside High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in 2003 and a master’s degree from the University of West Florida in 2005. He is currently employed at Ohio-West Virginia Excavating Company as a project manager and as a basketball official for the Ohio Valley Basketball Officials Board.
After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
