Mirna Assaf and Donald W. Dlesk Jr. were united in marriage July 29 at 7 p.m. at The National Presbyterian Church in Rabiya, Lebanon with the Pastor George Mrad officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Youssef Assaf and Leila Chahine of Zalka, Lebanon. Parents of the groom are the late Donald W. Dlesk Sr. of Colerain and Sharon Pranis of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Sandra Assaf was the maid of honor and Michael Dlesk served as the best man. Other attendants were Miryam Abi Aad, Jason Elias, Erica Chahine, Joe Youssef, Angelina & Caitlyn Maatouk, Eric Andraos and Fouad Attieh.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Val Pere Jacques School, a 2002 graduate of The Institute of Tourism with a diploma in computer science and a 2004 graduate of Lebanese University with a master’s degree in social science. She is employed as a teacher at Val Pere Jacques School in Bkennaya, Lebanon.
Her husband is a 2001 graduate of Martins Ferry High School. He obtained a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati in 2006. He is employed as a lead structural analyst at Belcan Engineering in Cincinnati.
The couple will honeymoon in various cities within the countries of Lebanon, Australia and the United States. Upon their return, they will reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
