ANAMARIE BRINKLEY and Brian Porter were united in marriage on Saturday, June 30, at the Memorial Chapel in Akron, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter of Ken and Beth Brinkley of Akron and the granddaughter of Madelyn Brinkley of Akron and Ted and Dee Bridgeland of Alabama.
The groom is the son of Bill and Joanne Porter of Bellaire. His grandparents are Chuck and Shirley Marling, also of Bellaire.
Cory Brinkley was the maid of honor while Kevin and Jeffrey Porter served as best men. Other attendants were Jessica Spencer, Jen Stackhouse-Russ, Kelly McAnnich, Barry Brinkley, Wade Russ, Tony Cardinal, Lee Friedman and Ryan Marling.
A reception was held at Guys Party Centre in Akron.
The bride is a graduate of Springfield High School and graduate of the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in middle level education. She is employed as a tutor at Hope Academy.
The groom is a graduate of Bellaire High School and Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education. He is employed full time with the Ohio Army National Guard where he served as a Sergeant First Class/E-7 and is the special projects coordinator for the recruiting command in the state of Ohio.
After their honeymoon on a western Caribbean Cruise, the couple resides in Tallmadge, Ohio.
