Christine Elizabeth Hajdin and Cristian Catalin Taut were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at St. John Neumann Church, Sunbury, with the Rev. David Sizemore officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Hajdin and the late Regina Hajdin of Columbus. She is the granddaughter of Madelyn Hajdin and the late Michael Hajdin of Bridgeport and Elvera and Andy Yanik of St. Clairsville. The groom is the son of Katalin and Viorel Taut of Romania.
Tiffany Matthews was matron of honor, and Gabriel Taut served as best man. Other attendants were Gabriella Taut, Michael Hajdin, Alex Grigoruta, Heather Barnes, Dr. Justin Low and Jillian Zak.
A reception was held at the NorthPointe Hotel in Columbus.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Miami University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in biological chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The groom attended the Technical University of Cluj Napoca. He currently works in marketing in Durham, N.C.
After a wedding trip to Italy, Austria, Hungary and Romania, the couple will reside in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
