Lindsey Nicole Helfer and Dennis Jerry McGlaughlin II were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Moundsville, with Monsignor Eugene Ostrowski officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Jane Helfer of Glen Dale. She is the granddaughter of Kathryn Helfer and the late John Helfer and Gladys Rine and the late Marion Rine.
The groom is the son of Denny and Sue McGlaughlin of Wheeling.
Attendants were Laura Chapman, Yvette Michaud, Sashi Murthy, Tom Curran, Kevin Gessler and John Mark Helfer. Grace Leach was the flower girl, and Patrick Bridges was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at River City Ale Works, Wheeling.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy, a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in advertising and communications, and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications. She is an employee of the corporate marketing department of Williams Lea in Wheeling.
Her husband is a 2003 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of Ithaca College with a bachelor of arts degree in speech communication and rhetoric, and a 2010 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law. He is an attorney at Spilman Thomas & Battle in Wheeling.
After a wedding trip to Paris, France, the couple will reside in Bethlehem.
