Amber Lynn DeVienzio and James Josiah Cross were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 4:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Shadyside with the Rev. David Roberts officiating the ceremony. The bride was escorted by her mother.
The bride is the daughter of Phyllis DeVienzio of Shadyside.
The groom is the son of Kandy and Jim Cross of Belmont.
Tiffany Collins was matron of honor, and Stephen Schmitt served as best man. Other attendants were Beth Stillion, Sonya Hunt, Angela Gordon, Jennifer Cross, Hayley DeVienzio, Andrew Schmitt, Chris Phillips, Pec Schmitt, Joe Schmitt and Jason DeVienzio. The flower girl was Addison Sommers, and ring bearer was Kaden Cross. Lauren Gnagey and Abrielle Bender attended the programs.
A reception was held at Generations.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2004 graduate of Ohio University. She is employed with the Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Her husband is a 2005 graduate of Union Local High School. He is employed with Pivotal Propane.
Following a wedding trip to Tennessee, the couple will reside in Flushing.
