Jeanette Elizabeth Benigas and Jonathan William Hunt were united in marriage Sunday, Sept. 2, at the Scioto Reserve Country Club in Columbus. The bride’s father, the Rev. John Benigas, officiated the outdoor garden ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Wendy Benigas of Hubbard, Ohio. The groom is the son of Brian and Laura Hunt of St. Clairsville.
Amy Tolson and Katie Branson were matrons of honor. Aaron Hunt and Braden Hunt served as best men. Other attendants were Stephanie Vagas, Jamie Franklin, Lindsay Daniel, Ryan George, Mike Reese, Joey Chek, Kevin Pollock, and John Benigas.
A reception was held at the Scioto Reserve Country Club.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Hubbard High School, a 2004 graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor of arts degree in speech-language pathology and a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. She expects to graduate in 2013 with a doctorate in speech and hearing science from The Ohio State University. She is employed as a speech-language pathologist in Columbus and teaches at The Ohio State University.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2005 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts degree in strategic communications. He is employed as the sales manager for Lamar Outdoor Advertising of Columbus.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Columbus.
