Melissa Marie Winland and Adam Michael Shallcross were united in marriage on March 23 at 2:30 p.m. at The First United Methodist Church in Bellaire with the Rev. Sheryl Seitz and Pastor Dave Mills officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Bill and Estie Winland of Shadyside. Parents of the groom are Steve and Denise Shallcross of Bellaire.
Andrea Trio was the matron of honor, and Adam Lucci served as best man. The flower girl was Delaney Dankert, and the ring bearer was Alex Padgett. Other attendants were Rebecca Terlesky, Emily Lewis, Jessica Dankert, Andrea Schafer, Stacy Ayala, Amy Phillips, Grant Doehrel, Ryan Padgett, Eric Trio, Doug Somerville, Brett Shallcross and Matthew Sabatino. Guest book attendants were Morgan Denham and Isaac Salva.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2004 graduate of Ohio University. She received a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. She is employed by St. Clairsville- Richland City Schools as a third grade teacher.
Her husband is a 2004 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. He is employed by Liberty Distributors as a purchasing agent.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Wheeling.
