Amber Marie Ifft and Zachary David Bruney were united in marriage, May 11, 2013 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Canton, Ohio by Fr. Donald King.
Parents of the bride are Daniel and Jill Ifft of Dover. Parents of the groom are David and Cheryl Bruney of Martins Ferry.
Matrons of honor were JoLyn McFadden and Carolyn Smiley. Trevor Bruney was best man. Other attendants were Ashley Bruney, Katelin Terpening, McKenzi Contini, April Range, Jennifer Klopfer, Katy Wells, Lindsay Clugston, Aimee LeMon, Alyson Ifft, Daniel Ifft, Christian Ifft, James Watts, Jeremy Shrodes, Philip Trouten, Ronald Hill, Brett Jordan and Jeremy Leonard.
A reception was held at The University Center at Kent Stark.
The bride graduated from Dover High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Miami University and her master’s degree from Kent State University. She is employed as a therapist at the Chrysalis Counseling Center in New Philadelphia.
The groom graduated from Martins Ferry High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Mount Union and his master’s degree from The University of Toledo. He is employed as the quarterbacks coach at Ohio Dominican University.
Following a honeymoon in the Mexican Riviera, the couple resides in Columbus.
