Jodie Marie Gantzer and Paul McMillan Braswell were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Fremont, Calif., with the Rev. Lauran Pifke officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Debbie Gantzer of Wheeling. The groom is the son of Mike Braswell and Pat McMillan of Hedgesville, W.Va.
Melanie Miller was the matron of honor, and James Braswell served as the best man. Other attendants were Sarah Braswell and Keith Miller. Elaine Yandrich served as the flower girl.
A celebration dinner was held at Pasta Moon in Half Moon Bay, Calif.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of arts degree in human performance and health, and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a master of occupational therapy degree. She is employed as an occupational therapist with OPT Therapy Services in Wilmington, Del.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Hedgesville High School and a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. He is a chemical engineer with DuPont in Wilmington, Del.
After a honeymoon to Calistoga, Calif., the couple will reside in Wilmington, Del. The couple is also planning a celebration of their marriage in Moundsville in September.
