Kayla Rose Magistro and Christopher John Amedro were united in marriage July 13, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Bellaire with Father Dale Tornes officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Jerry and Cathy Magistro of Martins Ferry. Parents of the groom are Jim and Mary Amedro of Moundsville.
Jara Chirpas was matron of honor, and Jonni Jo Magistro served as maid of honor. Matt Amedro and Zach Amedro were best men. Other attendants were Lindsay Coyne, Jessica Anderschat, Dana White, Lauren Fountain, Erica Evans, Ashley Vargo, Jeff Crowe, Luca Magistro, Mike Harveth, Chad McKown and Aaron Chirpas. Bella and Giana Chirpas were flower girls, and Lucas Harveth served as ring bearer.
A reception was held at The McLure Hotel in Wheeling.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of St. John Central High School and a graduate of West Liberty University where she earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education. She is employed by the Bridgeport School District as a high school intervention specialist and varsity assistant basketball and softball coach.
Her husband is a 2001 graduate of John Marshall High School and a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health. He is employed by the Wetzel County School District as a physical education teacher.
After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple resides in Bellaire.
