Stephanie Lynn Bommer and Shane Franklin Sable were united in marriage Sept. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, St. Clairsville, with Pastor Jamie Roten officiating. The bride was escorted by her mother.
Parents of the bride are Donald and Melissa Woods of Martins Ferry. Parents of the groom are Steve and Tonya Sable of Bellaire and Donald and Sherry Smithberger of Shadyside.
Crystal Weeks was matron of honor, and Brittany Bommer was maid of honor. Jarett Kuhns and Mitch Stewart served as best men. Other attendants were Kristen Hollingshead, Heather Brown, Autumn Crupe, Morgan Belles, Chase Delman, Stephen Bossell, Josh Hartman and Joseph Strickler. Junior bridesmaid was Jamielynn Woods, and junior groomsman was Steven Stowe. Flower girls were Brooklynn Woods and Layla Weeks. Ring bearer was Ryan Weeks. Lauren and Jaclyn Sable served as guest book attendants.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Bridgeport High School. She is a 2012 graduate of Belmont College with an applied science degree. She is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Wheeling Medical Park.
Her husband is a 2007 graduate of Bellaire St. John Central. He is also a 2011 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Shadyside.
