ERICA BETH Evans and Jason Allen Frye were united in marriage on Oct. 19, at 1 p.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bellaire, with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Carol and Marty Barbaley of Rayland and Edward and Kim Evans of Beallsville. Parents of the groom are Ruth Frye of West Alexander, Pa., and the late John Frye.
Jessica Kosky was matron of honor and Steve Dille served as best man. Other attendants were Kara Monsman, Meghann Kolb, Ashley Vargo, Kayla Amedro, Melody McNamara, Jay Bruce, Tim Queen, Scott Dille, Aaron Hill, Tim Edge, Jeremy Dvorcek, Barry Hostutler, Derek Ritchea, Jayson Johnson, Joel Galligan-Stierle, Jason Kocher, Jeff Smith and Aleksei Marinenko. Sophia Kosky and Olivia Kosky were flower girls. Rosalind Fitch was the organist, and Kelli Shallcross was the soloist.
A reception was held at the River City Artisan Center, Wheeling.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of St. John Central High School, a 2006 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and early childhood education and a 2009 graduate of Franciscan University with a master’s degree in reading. She is employed by Buckeye Local School District.
Her husband is a 1994 graduate of McGuffey High School and a 2001 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is employed as a general manager of Xtreme of Washington County.
The couple is planning a honeymoon to Jamaica.
