Parents of the bride are Jerry and Jean Shumyla of Amherst, Ohio. Parents of the groom are John and Cindy DeVienzio of Bellaire.
Christine Quarando served as matron of honor. Jeremiah Johnson served as best man. Other attendants were Annie Demyan, Lindsey Cantalamessa, Stephanie Carroll, Christina DeVienzio, Eric Skrout, Andy Marano, Jon Morrison and Nick Shumyla.
A reception was held at the Clifton Barn in Avon, Ohio.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lorain Catholic High School, a 2007 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor of science degree in education, and is employed as an intervention specialist for the Bedford City Schools.
Her husband is a 1999 graduate of St. John’s Central High School, a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in computer and electrical engineering. He is employed as a process control engineer at Cristal in Ashtabula, Ohio.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and currently reside in Chardon, Ohio.
