Davis Law Office opens new site in Steubenville
STEUBENVILLE Davis Law Office has moved to the Scarpone Professional Center at 2021 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, and is ready to accept clients at the new location.
D. William Davis opened Davis Law Office in Bridgeport in 2001 and it has grown to now include a second office in Steubenville. The new office opened on June 11.
The practice is primarily dedicated to the area of bankruptcy law and the office handles cases in both Ohio and West Virginia.
Before opening Davis Law Office in Bridgeport in 2001, Davis practiced with the law firm of Thomas and Thomas in Bridgeport from 1974 until 1979; with law firm of Heinlein and Davis in Bridgeport from 1979 until 1985; and with the law firm of Lancione, Davis, and Lloyd in Bellaire from 1985 until 2001. Davis was a judge for Belmont County Court, Eastern Division, from 1979 until his retirement on Dec. 31, 2010.
Davis is a 1973 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Law and is admitted to practice in the states of Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. He has been a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern District of Ohio since 1987 and is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and American Bankruptcy Institute.
Davis is joined in practice by Attorney Kelly Kotur, who came to Davis Law Office in August 2009. Kotur is a Powhatan Point, Ohio, native and a 2006 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. Prior to joining Davis Law Office, she clerked for the Honorable John Preston Bailey, United States District Judge for the Northern District of West Virginia, and she also worked in private practice in Akron, Ohio. Kotur is admitted to practice in the states of Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
