Sudsy’s unveils upgrades in Ferry

MARTINS FERRY — Sudsy’s Auto Spa is going high tech and green at the same time.

Wesley and Michelle Neal, operators of Sudsy’s in Martins Ferry and Elm Grove — showcased their Purple City’s upgraded state-of-the-art facility Friday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony, staged by the Martins Ferry Chamber of Commerce.

“We are pleased to have the new Wash World Automatic Car Wash at both locations. The new equipment features an onboard drying system, which allows the customer to stay in the bay while the machine runs over the car,” Wesley Neal stated.

“The new system used much less in resources, making it good for the environment. All of the chemicals that we use are biodegradable as well,” Michelle Neal added.

The Neals have been in the car wash business for 18 years, a time span which has spawning technology upgrades.

“This upgrade has allowed our customers to use their debit/credit cards not only in our automatics, but our self-serve bays as well. We are also offering our Sudsy’s Auto Spa gift cards, which can be used in either the automatic or self-service bays, at great prices this holiday season, said office manager Angel Neal. “We feel that this is a gift for that hard-to-buy for person on your list, or why not treat yourself?”

The Neals also offer company cards. They will set up an account in your company’s name and bill you monthly for your car-wash usage. The Neals are currently offering a discount on gift cards for the holiday season.

The Auto Spas are located at 500 Hanover St. in Martins Ferry and 2102 Lumber Ave. in Elm Grove.

“The new system is green friendly as it uses half the water and half the chemicals as the previous system,” Wesley neal offered. “We encourage the public to come in as all the bugs have been ironed out and the washes are working very effectively.”
