Whiteside nets awards
St. CLAIRSVILLE -According to officials from the General Motors Fleet and Commercial Operations, the Whiteside Chevrolet-Buick-GMC-Cadillac, Inc. earned the distinction of being amount the highest performing Fleet Elite participants in the country.
“To meet the stringent requirements in order to achieve this highly regarded recognition takes dedication, cooperation and talent,” explained Ted Showalter, Whiteside’s General Manager. “Whiteside’s needed to achieve a minimum of one-hundred fleet deliveries. After this requirement was met, GM Fleet Elite award distribution then bases the highest total of Fleet deliveries of eligible delivery types after attaining this one-hundred unit qualifier,” Showalter added. “We are proud of our Whiteside’s Fleet Manager, Brian McCulley, who also had to complete the extensive GM Fleet training process,” he continued.
Ed Peper, Fleet General Manager for GM, stated that “it is our honor to recognize Whiteside’s for outstanding dedication to sales and customer service throughout the 2011 calendar year and wish them continued success in 2012.”
- Also, Whiteside Chevrolet-GMC-Buick-Cadillac, Inc.’s Service Department has achieved the highest rating possible for total customer satisfaction for the year 2011.
The Whiteside’s Service Department, located in St. Clairsville, Ohio, achieved a 335.85 percent completion for Service Training Standards in 2011.
The GM training program utilized by the Whiteside’s Service Department offers valuable resources to develop useful learning tools and skills. Web-based courses, video on-demand and virtual classroom training were just a few of the ways the Whiteside’s employees were able to continue their training and improve productivity for their employer. The main objective for this training was to increase the knowledge of service technicians in this ever-changing world of technology in order to provide superior service to the customer and complete satisfaction.
