Hornswogglers ready to celebrate

FLUSHING – Hornswogglers in Bellaire is set to celebrate its one year anniversary.

The store that has a little bit of everything, Hornswogglers buys, sells and trade a number of items, including antiques, furniture, appliances and tools.

Owner Eric Klug has also reopened the Flushing store and has a new manager in place, Sunni Rae Scott, to handle things out in Western Belmont County.

Next weekend, both Hornswogglers location will be celebrating.

For Scott, at the Flushing store located at 450 High St. it’s a grand opening celebration.

In Bellaire, where manager Lisa Boyle handles the managerial duties for Klug, it’s a one-year anniversary.

The Flushing location has been open for a few months, but the celebration was held off to coincide with the anniversary date for the Bellaire store, which is located at 4399 Jefferson St. in the northern part of town.

Scott reports that business has been steady, both in her store and the adjacent flea market that she runs on the other side of the building.

Vendors can set up their space and sell their wares, even without being present during the sale.

All the items are marked and the purchases are made at Hornswogglers.

No percentage of sale is taken, only a monthly booth rental fee.

Inside Hornswogglers itself, both locations have an ample amount of furniture, but that’s far from all that Klug’s two stores offer.

Included in this weekend’s festivities is 10 percent off store-wide, both in Flushing and in Bellaire.

That discount also holds true for the flea market, as Scott got the market vendors to agree to the discount on their items.

There will also be free coffee offered in Flushing.

Klug invites the public to stop on down to either location and see Hornswogglers’ ample assortment of affordably priced merchandise. You won’t be disappointed.
