OVOGA names executive director
ST.?CLAIRSVILLE A new year brings new opportunity and hope for prosperity. The growing oil and gas industry is exactly what Lisa Kindler, Executive Director of the Ohio Valley Oil and Gas Association (OVOGA) feels will help to create that prosperity for our area.
Kindler, a Duquesne University graduate is a native of Pittsburgh, PA but currently resides in St. Clairsville with her husband John and three daughters.
“Lisa’s experience in communications and public relations, as well as her interest in our area’s booming production of natural resources is a great combination to promote member growth within this industry,” commented Matt Steele, President and Founder of OVOGA.
“Approaching out third year, we are over 150 members strong and are projecting membership of over 200 in
2014. Information in the O&G industry is consistently changing and we are here to convey that information to our
members,” said Vice President, Josh Gasber.
OVOGA will be kicking off the year’s activities with a General Member meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at
Belmont College and a Boomtown Panel Meeting with experts in the industry open to the public in April 2014.
“I am very excited to be a part of this organization,” said Kindler. “There are so many opportunities in our region
for the local based employees and business, it’s important to get the word out.”

- As a resource to match needs of the oil and gas producers and distributors with local providers.
- As a resource for new business entities intending to serve the oil and gas industry.
