Bev’s Floral & Gifts adding greeting cards, new candles
BELLAIRE — A popular shop in the All-American Town has recently expanded its stock.
Bev’s Florals & Gifts opened its doors in late October, offering a wide variety of offerings. The picturesque shop is located at 3395 Belmont St., adjacent from the village’s historic park.
The business is owned and operated by Bev Hrdlicka. It has enjoyed solid support from customers local as well as out of the area clientele.
Bev’s Florals & Gifts has attracted much interest with its line of funeral-related items. Cement benches, concrete angels, inspirational throws, wreaths, crosses and eternal lights are popular purchases.
The store also features jewelry, purses, small furniture, candles, candy and such.
Hrdlicka recently upgraded her inventory very impressively.
Now available are Swan Creek Candle Co. products. The Swanton, Ohio corporation produces candles that are 100 percent American soybean wax with 100 percent cotton wicks that are lead free. They are clean burning with no soot.
The candles burn longer than paraffin ones and are made from a naturally renewable source and are intensely fragrant.
Bev’s carries 24-ounce and 12-ounce jar candles, drizzle melts for candle warmers and assorted candle warmers.
Bev’s has also added Leanin Tree Greeting Cards. The family-owned “Made in America” business for more than 50 years is based in Boulder, Col.
“They are beatifically crafted greeting cards that feature original artwork by outstanding independent artists from across the world,” Hrdlicka said. “We have a nice selection of all occasion cards with different themes and interests.”
She said she decided to add the new items because of popular demand.
“Many of my customers were asking for them,” Hrdlicka said. “So I decided to do just that and the new products have been well received.”
Bev’s Florals and Gifts also has gifts that may be hard to find anywhere else in the area.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bev’s Florals and Gifts is closed on Sundays.
