STEUBENVILLE — Whether it’s famous barbecued ribs, ribeye steak or onion loaf, Damon’s Grill and Sports Bar in Steubenville is sure to please customers with their diverse menu.

Supervisor Pamela Morris said the restaurant continues to offer guests great food in a friendly sports-themed restaurant and lounge. The main dining area has four large, flat-screen televisions that continuously carry sports programming.

Damon’s offers a variety delicious entrees including “famous” barbecued ribs, ribeye steak, flame-grilled chicken, almond-crusted salmon, fried fish dinner, chicken piccata, and a variety of pasta dinners and pizza. In addition, they offer a variety of popular sandwiches, wraps and salads including Damon’s southern barbecue sandwich, the California chicken wrap and a harvest chicken salad.

Morris said their “fall-off-the-bone” ribs and onion loaf continue to be customer favorites.

She said their “Live Team Trivia,” held every Tuesday night, is popular with area residents, who can win restaurant gift cards.

“We have a hostess who asks the questions, and they play music in between. We get very busy,” Morris said. “The restaurant gives a $30 gift card for first place, a $15 gift card for second and a $5 gift card for third.”

Situated in one corner of the restaurant is a special events Franciscan University-themed room, called the “Baron Room,” which is ideal for small groups or clubs and seats up to 25 people.
