New engineering firm office opens

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — RETTEW, an Engineering News-Record top design firm, this month opened a second office in Ohio.

Located in St. Clairsville, the office will serve as a base for staff members performing on-site work for clients in the region. The new location is at 51560 National Road East, Suite B.

This location will complement RETTEW’s two nearby offices in Pittsburgh and Uniontown, Ohio. The new site will serve primarily as a field office for the firm’s work in the Utica Shale play, with staff from other offices using it as needed. Employees performing work in the industrial, development and transportation markets will also use the office. Up to 10 employees will be on site regularly, and RETTEW will grow the number of local staff as client needs dictate.

“As we strengthen our operations in the Northeast in response to client needs, we’re excited to add another office to further support our repertoire of services and quality personnel,” said Mark Lauriello, president and CEO.

Including the St. Clairsville site, RETTEW now operates nine offices in four states throughout the Northeast and Midwest. Two more offices are planned for opening in 2017.

RETTEW, ranked on Engineering News-Record’s 2017 list of top design firms, began providing civil engineering and surveying services in 1969. Today RETTEW has more than 350 employees and nine offices located in Lancaster, Allentown, Mechanicsburg, Pittsburgh and Williamsport, Pa.; Uniontown and St. Clairsville, Ohio; Bridgeport, W.Va.; and Denver, Colo.
