FLUSHING — The Town and Country Outdoor Market at Sunni Rae’s is slated to kick off its season starting May 1.

Sunni Rae Scott, owner of Sunni Rae’s, which is an antiques and collectibles shop in Flushing, said the market includes vendors selling various wares, baked good, vegetables, crafts, tools and other items outside her business twice a week.

The market is slated from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays through October.

“We are trying to provide a platform in which local artists, craftsmen, farmers and businesses can show their wares and gain exposure that they otherwise may not experience. When local businesses come together and share customers, everyone benefits,” Scott said.

Sunni Rae’s is located at 450 High St., Flushing.

“This is the sixth year we’ve been doing it. … We’ve had a lot more success since Gran’s Goodies set up. This is her third year here,” she said. “I expect to have a good turnout.”

Vendors already signed up to participate include Gran’s Goodies, ICR Supply, T&C Vinyl Designs, Mama/Maria, The Little Bee Market, Paparazzi with Charlene, Odds & Ends Hauling and Crafts, Candie, Young Living Essential Oils and Morrell’s Creations.

The market will also feature two food trucks — Bev-Ro Concessions and Two Guys and a Grill.

Sunni Rae’s store hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays; and closed Mondays. Her number is 740-968-7212.
