3 enter not guilty pleas in Monroe

WOODSFIELD – Three Monroe County residents, indicted in November, recently entered not guilty pleas when arraigned in Monroe County Common Pleas Court.

Three other individuals indicted are scheduled next week for arraignments.

These six persons are among the eight indicted secretly Nov. 21 by a grand jury, and two cases still were sealed as of Monday afternoon, according to Clerk of Courts Beth Rose.

Those entering not guilty pleas, according to court records, were Kayla M. Pletcher, 20, 48580 Ketzel Hill Road, Sardis, who faces a charge of trafficking in drugs; Cassidy Jo Minder, 20, 49430 Miller Road, Woodsfield, indicted on three counts of trafficking in drugs and one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs; and Dawn L. Minder, 47, 49430 Miller Road, Woodsfield, facing three counts of complicity. Their trial dates have not been set as yet.

Scheduled for appearances Monday are Cory A. Scott, 22, 201 Woodland Court, Woodsfield, who was indicted on charges of burglary, theft/disabled adult and safecracking; Mark Anthony Adkisson, 20, in care of the Noble County Jail, 420 Olive St., Caldwell, who faces a charge of receiving stolen property; and Richard E. Eddy Sr., 42, 45149 State Rt. 78, Woodsfield, indicted on two counts of possession of a dangerous ordnance.

Arraignments are held before Monroe County Common Pleas Court Judge Julie R. Selmon.
