Stuckey named Grand Champion

Nathan Stuckey received the Overall Champion Jr. Fair Beef Animal trophy at this year’s Belmont County Junior Fair.

The trophy was sponsored in memory of Lee White. The Champion Heifer Belmont County Junior Fair Feeder Calf Trophy was sponsored by the Barnesville FFA. The Belmont County Junior Fair Champion Heavyweight Heifer Feeder Calf trophy was sponsored by J.D. and Paula Winlind and the Outstanding Project Knowledge Beef Feeder Calf Senior plaque was sponsored by E.M. Mowrer, D.V.M.

During the evening live stock sales, the Ohio Valley Cattlemen’s Association presented Stuckey with the Grand Champion jacket. The Belmont County Junior Fair Board presented him the Clean Stall ribbon.

Stuckey is a member of the Stallions 4-H group in Colerain. His advisors are Vickie Temple and Sherri Theaker. His calf, Pearl, is boarded at the Rinkes Farm in Harrisville where he has spent many summers and long hours learning how to work the farm and care for all the animals.

Stuckey is the son of Scott and Darlene Stuckey.
