Harrison SWCD is taking tree seedling, plant orders
CADIZ — Spring is in the air and now is the time to put together your order for the Tree Seedling and Plant Sale at the Harrison Soil and Water Conservation District. The SWCD will continue to take orders until April 1, 2013. Seedling and plant pickup will be April 18 and 19, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The Harrison Soil and Water Conservation District annual Tree Seedling and Plant Sale is under way.
The objective of the program is to provide low cost planting material to landowners to enhance the environment for the future generations.
Species being offered include: blackberry, blueberry, concord grape, red canadice grape, white pine, arborvitae, Colorado blue spruce, flowering dogwood, redbud, shagbark hickory, Northern pecan, sawtooth oak, red oak, pussy willow, Ohio buckeye, black walnut, persimmon, and downy serviceberry.
Orders may be placed until April 1, 2013 payment must accompany order.
Orders not picked up during the dates and times listed will be considered a donation to the SWCD office unless previously arranged.

Limited Quantities Available, Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Seedlings and plants are quality stock. Harrison SWCD offers no guarantee of survival due to weather and planting conditions not under our control. Call us at 740-942-8837 with questions or to request an order form.
