Queens selected as finalists
Two local homecoming queens have been selected as finalists for Ohio’s 34th Annual Homecoming Queen Selection to be held April 13, 2014 at the Dayton Marriott in Dayton, Ohio. Ohio’s 2014 Homecoming Queen will receive a cash scholarship plus an all-expense paid trip to the National Finals to compete with queens from other states for America’s Homecoming Queen. America’s?Homecoming Queen Inc. is a non-profit organization promoting education, educational travel, and community service in all fifty states. Chosen locally was Miss Breanna Lappert, daughter of Michael and Malissa Lappert of Shadyside. Miss Lappert is this year’s Shadyside High School Homecoming Queen. Also chosen was Miss Geena Jarvie, daughter of John and Rose Jarvie of St. Clairsville. Miss Jarvie is this year’s St. Clairsville High School Homecoming Queen.
Lappert and Jarvie will also be competing for Ohio’s favorite homecoming queen. You can vote for either at www.americashomecomingqueen.com.
